Sculptures Exploring Nature, Humanity, and the Elements

Leo Dias’ sculptures explore the relationship between form, material, and meaning. Using traditional and natural materials, each piece invites reflection on emotion, balance, and human connection.

Rather than functioning as purely decorative objects, these works are created to carry story and symbolism.

Materials and Process

Leo works with materials such as terracotta, soapstone, wood, plaster, and mixed media elements. Through carving, firing, and hand-finishing, the natural qualities of each material help shape the final form.

In addition, organic textures and found elements add depth and contrast, reinforcing the tactile nature of the work.

Themes and Meaning

Many of these sculptures explore themes of connection, transformation, and responsibility. Some reflect relationships between people, while others address humanity’s relationship with the Earth.

Ultimately, each piece is intended to encourage quiet reflection and personal interpretation.
